There are many reasons why people criticize homosexual activism. These reasons stem from different social systems, cultural beliefs and individual perspectives....

Objections are often based on religious and cultural values, moral and ethical concerns, and fear of social change, which can undermine established social structures or traditional norms. In the fifth part of this series, we continue with important criticisms of homosexual activists.

Criticisms from the Pedagogical Dimension;

Ignoring social norms and moral boundaries in a free-sex environment may confuse children and negatively affect their development. Teaching different sexual orientations under the name of gender equality in educational environments may confuse children about sexual roles and identities.

Criticisms from the Economic Dimension;

Many NGOs working on LGBTI+ issues are part of an economic network of almost one trillion dollars. This is very important for social transformation. These organizations receive money from capitalism. The rich benefit from LGBT+ preferences. The richest families in the world support homosexuality and finance gay organizations. This can damage social capital, human resources and vocational orientation planning. This can lead to economic weakness and population decline. This situation requires urgent measures, including those taken by Russia, to compensate for difficulties in vocational planning.

Moral criticism;

Some people think it is wrong to say that homosexuality is a disease. They say that it is not possible to say whether it is a disease or not because it is a belief and a lifestyle choice. Science cannot say that it is right or wrong to have a belief or a lifestyle choice. Only religion, law and other universal moral principles can make moral value judgments, such as whether nudity is better than clothing.

It is not hateful to criticize moral judgment against homosexuals as a hate crime.

Health warnings on cigarette packets are not hateful. The issue of AIDS and other anally transmitted infections is not about hiding the fact that these diseases are most common among homosexuals. While it is perfectly normal to criticize heterosexuals who commit adultery before marriage, it is OK to criticize gays, lesbians, bisexuals and other BDSM sexual relationships. It is never a hate crime. Homosexuals should be able to accept criticism.

Criticism from the Dimension of Values;

Turkish society is predominantly Muslim and does not accept homosexuality. This is natural for a faith-based society because it aims to protect its values. Without values, society collapses. Society must adapt to the transformation of its values in order to survive.

Criticism of uncontrolled sexual desire;

These drives create unlimited desires, such as the desire to possess, to feel secure and to be admired, loved and appreciated. Sex is a similar situation, it is an unlimited desire that drives the organism. In order to become a person with identity, personality and character, these drives need to be limited and regulated.

The sources of shame, sin and legal prohibitions that build the human being are religion, morality, law and other social values. These factors help a person to become a real human being in society. Sexuality is one of the basic human drives and must be controlled in order to preserve identity and character. Uncontrolled sexuality is like an uncontrolled wild animal.

All societies have tried to control their sexual desires. One way of doing this is to control sexual deviations such as as homosexuality. People have always seen homosexuality as a deviation and societies have reacted to it in different ways. Some researchers say that homosexuality was not common in ancient Greece. It was not recognised as a category until the 19th century. This meant that people with similar tendencies could not seek legitimisation for their condition.

People have learned that bad examples and model confusion result from uncontrolled disclosure of wrongdoing.

Uncontrolled sexual impulses weaken the institution of the family;

Sex affects how we live. Sex outside marriage can damage families. The family is important to all of us. If the family breaks down, so does this. People with different sexual desires can upset things. The idea that a new family is being created is wrong. Cultural systems and morals do not change quickly. Even a small change affects the balance. People should be concerned about this and about the destruction of human social structures.
