Throughout history, the Middle East has been the centre of power games and strategic manipulations, not only for oil and land. Today, under the shadow of nuclear weapons, proxy wars and international intrigues are determining the region's fate. The realities behind the nuclear issues stretching from Iraq to Iran, threat strategies and international manipulations form the fundamental dynamics of the conflicts in the region.
The Truth Behind Nuclear Claims
The invasion of Iraq was based on unfounded claims of weapons of mass destruction and led to the loss of millions of lives. Today, a similar scenario is being played out against Iran. The allegations that Iran is developing nuclear weapons are based more on political assumptions than concrete evidence. Reports from the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency have become part of global narrative engineering as a result of political manipulation. Misleading information not only harms Iran but also makes the repetition of similar tragedies inevitable.
Threat Strategies and Diplomatic Crises
The harsh ultimatums of US and Israeli leaders are replacing diplomacy with threats and bullying in the Middle East. Statements such as ‘if there is no agreement, everything will be destroyed’ are causing deep anxiety among generations growing up in the shadow of nuclear weapons. Israel's operation names are deliberately chosen to discredit its enemies and motivate its domestic public. The US's harsh rhetoric, meanwhile, encourages aggressors by leading the international community to remain silent in the face of threats.
US Proxy Wars and Regional Interests
The US's proxy wars in the Middle East are more a reflection of conflicting interests than a genuine pursuit of peace. The tragedies in Iraq and Libya are the bitter consequences of this policy. Now a similar scenario is unfolding in Iran. The US is not only providing military support to Israel, but also concealing the dark side of proxy wars with false rhetoric of peace. Similar strategies are being used in Ukraine and Iran to fuel conflicts without a formal declaration of war.
Some claims in the Turkish media that Israel's air systems are superior are far from reality. The deployment of a second attack aircraft carrier by the US to the Persian Gulf clearly shows that this is not true.
Propaganda and Complex Actors
While Israel and the US play the roles of the righteous and the victim on their own stages, much more complex interests are at play behind the scenes. The perception that the US military is inadequate in the region is a propaganda tool designed to mislead the public. Trump's pre-election call for war is a continuation of the security rhetoric repeatedly used in Iraq and Libya. Israel is trying to block alternative power blocs in the region rather than Iran. US intervention is directly linked to control of energy corridors. The CIA's failure to provide concrete evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons contradicts the US's harsh rhetoric.
International Law and the Distortion of Facts
The tension between Israel and Iran is not just a conflict between two countries, but a complex reflection of the international balance of power. The denial and distortion of facts serve the strategic goals of the parties involved. Israel's attack on the Natanz facility is being legitimised despite being contrary to international law. The US's silence and double standards are escalating tensions, deepening polarisation in the region and undermining hopes for peace.
Nuclear Weapons and Regional Insecurity
The presence of nuclear weapons in the Middle East is one of the most important factors threatening regional stability. While Israel's nuclear arsenal unilaterally determines the regional balance of power, Iran's nuclear programme is constantly portrayed as a threat. Pakistan's involvement in the equation increases the risks. The use of nuclear weapons poses a major threat not only to the region but also to global security. The arms race and increasing insecurity are hindering diplomatic solutions and raising the possibility of crises spiralling out of control.
On the Brink of Regional Conflict: Israel's Operations
Israel's military operations against Iran are part of a comprehensive propaganda campaign aimed at influencing not only the situation on the ground but also global public opinion. Israel is making intensive efforts in the media and diplomacy to cover up its war crimes and establish legitimacy. Iran's response, exercising its right to self-defence, could spark a new regional conflict. As both sides strive to prove their military superiority, the region becomes even more unstable.
Financing and Support: The Role of the United States
The financing of conflicts in the Middle East is directly linked to the financial support provided by the United States to Israel. The fact that most of the weapons used by Israel are financed by American taxes paves the way for proxy wars to continue and escalate. At the same time, turning a blind eye to violations of international law and human rights through financing leads to increased civilian casualties and deepening humanitarian crises.
Conclusion: The Biggest Obstacle to Peace
The shadow of nuclear weapons in the Middle East is the biggest obstacle to regional peace. Double standards and manipulations increase insecurity in the region and undermine hopes for peace. Turkey and the countries of the region are caught in the middle of a complex game. As long as the veil of secrecy remains over the truth, insidious plans will continue to gain strength. We must raise individual and social awareness and provide strong motivation for action to protect our national security. The future of the region lies in the hands of those who act with awareness.
