Governments can use fear and misleading news to distract and divide the public. These tactics are designed to manipulate and control people.

The main purpose of reality TV programs is to entertain. But while they distract us and stimulate our emotional responses, they neutralize efforts to raise awareness about bullying, corruption and incompetence, as much of society remains passive. People must be careful about letting others think for them. A society that cannot think for itself is helpless in the face of propaganda. It is time to turn off the reality shows, realize that the world is moving step by step towards a dystopian future and fight back.
